Fòs Feminista (Fòs) is a feminist asset owner and intermediary building financial infrastructure that shifts power and facilitates mission-aligned capital flows. Their distinctive value is often invisible to conventional finance: what looks like “soft” relationship work, political legitimacy, or technical assistance is, in practice, the infrastructure that makes feminist finance possible.
To appreciate how Fòs embodies progressive feminist finance, we unpacked their approach in detail, including the assets (financial and non-financial) they use to shape financial systems. We also provide a case study of INNOVA Health Supplies (INNOVA), a “mission-locked” social enterprise, co-founded by Fòs with longstanding local partners, that was built to transform the economics of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for local communities. INNOVA’s pioneering structure and operating model both underscores Fòs’s intermediation expertise and provides a blueprint for movement-led economic power.
Our work depends on an ever-expanding community of team members, advisors, donors, and other partners who help us achieve our mission.
